Meet the Team

Amelia

Amelia is our dental hygienist who received her associate degree in dental hygiene from the University of Louisville in 2002. She firmly believes in a total-health approach to dentistry and values the strong personal relationships she develops with her patients. Her main goal is to provide a personal, comfortable experience. Amelia is committed to continuing education and broadening her skills with new technology and research. For Amelia, the secret to happiness is spending time with her husband, two-year-old son, Cannon and daughter, Nora Kate.

Debbie

Debbie is a registered dental hygienist with 23 years of experience. She received her associate degree in dental hygiene from the University of Louisville in 1985 and then earned a bachelor degree in science from the University of Louisville in 1987. "Even after all these years in dentistry, I still love working with patients and am passionate about my chosen career,” she says. "I like to help people achieve total health through their dental visits.” When Debbie is not working, she enjoys University of Louisville football and basketball, animals, and reading.

Jennifer

Jennifer is our dental hygienist who graduated from the University of Louisville in May 2005 with an associate degree in dental hygiene. Jennifer joined the practice in October 2005. Using a combination of clinical skills and patient education, she is committed to helping patients reach optimal dental health. When Jennifer is not working, she and her husband enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Teresa

Teresa is an expanded duty dental assistant who has been working in the dental field since 1979. She attended Somerset College and the University of Louisville, and she has worked with Dr. Dick for 20 years. Teresa has two children and enjoys being with her family and friends.

Jill

Jill moved to Louisville from Lexington, Kentucky in 2000 after attending the University of Kentucky. For the last ten years, Jill has worked in the dentistry field and became an expanded duty dental assistant in 2002. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, being outdoors, and traveling.

Amy

Amy, our Practice Coordinator, obtained her degree from the University of Kentucky and has been in Dentistry for over 14 years, seven of those years with Dr. Dick. Amy is married with two daughters and a son. When not working, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Emily

Emilygrew up in Louisville, KY and graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelors of Science in Communication. She has recently joined our team as a patient coordinator. Emily has been in dentistry for 9 years. Emily is married with a son and dog, Vito. When she is not working, Emily enjoys going to the lake and camping. Unless, it is football season. Then Emily is dragged into watching and attending football games all weekend.

Lisa

Lisa is an expanded duty dental assistant (EDDA) with nearly 30 years of experience. She was trained at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Lisa has been an assistant to Dr. Dick for 25 years. Lisa welcomes the opportunity to interact with patients and make them feel at ease during their procedures. When not working, Lisa and her husband love spending time with their two children, family and friends.

Amber

Amber is the Patient Coordinator at the Clarksville location. Amber has a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of Louisville and is happy to be part of the Smilecare family. She believes that everyone should have a happy healthy life, and enjoys helping others understand the importance of dental health. When she isn't with her Smilecare team she stays busy keeping up with her husband and young daughter Macyn.

Lindsey

Lindsey, our registered dental hygienist, received her associate degree in dental hygiene from University of Louisville in 2004. While working as a hygienist she went on to earn a bachelor degree in science from University of Louisville in 2007. She lives by the motto "smiles are contagious, so share the love!" Comfort is Lindsey's number one priority and believes optimum oral health is a partnership between herself and her patients. Lindsey enjoys traveling with family and friends, running a small custom cake business, and having dance parties in the living room with her young daughter Lillian.

Heather

Heather is an expanded duty dental assistant (EDDA) who has been working in the dental field for 14 years. She attended Elizabethtown Community College. She is very passionate about her job and strives to make sure the patient has a pleasant and positive experience. When Heather is not working she enjoys training horses, riding motorcycles, and spending time with her family and friends.

Sarah

Sarah is our Dental Hygienist who works both in our Louisville and our Indiana office. She comes with considerable dental experience & knowledge starting out as a dental assistant since 2004. From Cleveland Ohio, Sarah began her degree at Ohio State University and moved to Louisville Kentucky to finish up her Bachelors degree of science in Dental hygiene at UofL. Sarah loves being involved with the community to remain on the cutting edge and build her knowledge base of what’s going on in the health care world in order to provide better care for her patients. She was awarded by the American Association of Public Health Dentistry, the Community Dentistry and Public Health award in 2010. With her gentle touch and warm smile Sarah will make your experience a comfortable one. When not dedicating her time with her patients she is spending time with her husband, hanging out with friends, working out, and traveling to see her family in Cleveland.
